Hans Monderman
Hans Monderman (born in 1947) is an engineer Urbaniste Dutch.
He is the creator of the theory of the shared space , at the origin of the concept of naked Route . He proposes to responsabiliser the road users by reducing the Road signs certain crossroads and certain streets.
Hans Monderman in particular tried out the naked road with Drachten, on a place where forward more than 20.000 vehicles per day. The consequences of this installation were a fluxing of the traffic and a reduction in the number of accidents.
