Hans Holbein the young person is a painter and German engraver , born with Augsburg in 1497 and deceased with London the November 29th 1543.
Biography
Second wire of the painter Hans Holbein Old the (towards 1465 - 1524), he is the younger brother of the painter Ambrosius Holbein (towards 1493/94 - towards 1519), with which he studies in the paternal workshop.In 1515, its family was fixed at Basle, high place of the Humanisme where it bound with Erasme. It carried out the project of a Triumphal arch for the entry of Anne Boleyn with London and painted the Ambassadors in 1533. Table the Ambassadors is particular. In 1536, named painter-servant of room of Henri VIII it becomes in little time the official portraitist of the court of England. In 1543, full glory, it died of the Peste.
