Hans-Christoph Seebohm
Hans-Christoph Seebohm , born on August 4th, 1903 in Emanuelssegen (today part of Katowice, in Poland) and dead on September 17th, 1967 with Bonn, was a German politician member of the German Parti (DP), then of the Union Christian Democrat (CDU).
It was federal minister for Transport of 1949 to 1966, in all the cabinets of Konrad Adenauer and Ludwig Erhard; its mandate with the cabinet was longest without interruption of the history of the Federal republic. It was briefly vice-chancellor in 1966, after the rupture of the Coalition black-yellow.
Seebohm also known for its engagement near German associations of was expelled and taken refuge, in particular those of the Sudètes, which embarrassed on several occasions the Federal government.
