Hanover (Pennsylvania)

Hanover is a American Borough of the county of York, in Pennsylvania. It is located at 31 km in the south-west of York and at 87 km with the north-north-west of Baltimore. At the time of the census of 2000, the city counted: 14535 inhabitants.

Located in a fertile agricultural area, Hanover was founded around 1730, before being built-in 1815. In the past, the city accommodated industries of Cigare S, Gant S, Soie, of flavin, wheels with water, of flour, clothing, shoes, pieces of furniture and other manufactured goods. The city draws its name from a mark of vegetable canning facility and from a company of gifts by correspondence which was installed there.
