Hanoï
Hanoï (in Vietnamese Hà Nội , i.e. “the city beyond the river”; Chữ nho : 河内) is the Capitale Vietnam, located on the delta of the Red Fleuve ( Sông Hồng ) which carts its muddy water towards the gulf of the Tonkin. In 2004 its population is estimated at more than three million inhabitants. The latter are called Hanoïens. But the city is not largest of Vietnam it is largely exceeded by its powerful rival of the south Saigon, which remains always the economic lung of the country.

- the bridge Long Good (ex- Pont Doumer, which resisted all the bombardments and is not any more in very good state);
- the Hotel Sofitel Metropolis (built in 1905 and renovated in 1995, which took part in the history of the city, in particular at the time of the war);
- the opera , copy of the palate Garnier of Paris (with the third, which makes it possible to have a sight brought closer to the artists occurring on his scene);
- the Big lake (lake of the West, Ho Tay );
- splendid colonial villas of the street Phan Dinh Phung (ex boulevard Carnot ) (mainly of the embassies);
- the house and the mausoleum of the president Ho Chi Minh .
