Hann Beautiful-Air

Hann Beautiful-Air is one of the 19 common of district of Dakar (Senegal).

This district is extended enough, it is located at the east of the capital, between Patte of Goose and Dakar-Plate.

Population

The first inhabitants of the village were Lébous, but today a little more than 40% of the heads of household are Wolofs.

The population is Moslem with more than 90%, of the brotherhood Tidjane generally.

At the time of the census of 2002, 35.768 people lived in Hann Beautiful-Air.

In 2007, according to the official estimates, the commune would count 40.246 inhabitants.

Economy

The Large mills of Dakar and the Manufacture of the tobaccos of the African West, two of the most important companies of Senegal, are established in the commune.
