Handymax
The Navire S of size Handymax are Vraquier S whose Port into heavy lies between 35 000 and 50 000; one finds the Handysize below and the Panamax above. They are sometimes assimilated with the Handysize .
A ship of this category typically makes 150 to 200 meters length, even if certain terminals with the Japan limit this length to 190 meters; they have five holds and often four cranes being able to raise 30 tons each one.
At the January 2004, more than 2000 ships of this type were in service, for a port in heavy total of 86 million tons; nearly 300 others were in order.
