Handbook Mejía Vallejo
Manuel Mejía Vallejo is a Colombian writer born with Jérico the April 23rd 1923 and died in El Retiro in 1998. After having studied painting and the sculpture with Medellín, Manuel Mejía Vallejo follows a career of journalist while starting, in parallel, a life of writer punctuated in particular by the creation of a group of Colombian writers (grupo Tertulia) and the drafting of a work plentiful and marked by its Andean roots. Violencia started in 1948 the constrained one with the exile, it lives with the Venezuela, the Guatemala, in Honduras, with the El Salvador and returns in Colombia in 1957.
