Handbook Marulanda Vélez
Manual Marulanda Vélez , born the May 12th 1930, is the name of war of Pedro Antonio Marin often called Tirofijo (" Shooting précis"), chief and founder of Colombian the guerilla group of the FARC, Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia . He is the most former leader of a still active revolutionary group.
It is at the beginnings of the Années 1950 that it founds a country militia of self-defense. Colombia is then the prey with the Violencia , a bloody civil war of a great brutality which at the end of the Forties, beginning of the year 50 sees country persecutions by a pledged police force with the Conservative party. Colombia lives then in anarchy. In shift, create for themselves many militia of self-defense of which much is delivered to the bandistism. Not that creates by Tirofijo. Influenced by the Marxism-Leninism and the cuban revolution, the young farmer then transforms his militia into 1964 with their family and other peasant about fifty, in Revolutionary armed forces of Colombia, Farc. Living in clandestinity for more than 40 years in the Colombian jungle, it has been thought that it has not put the feet in a city for more than 30 years and that it never went to Bogota. It stopped forever although all the successive presidents of Colombia promised to do it.
In 40 years, it created a true well organized and structured army, controlling most of the country. Man considered pragmatic and malignant, it does not have to hesitate to practice villainous removals or to take the control of most of the traffic of cocaine to finance his guerilla.
