Handball Metz the Moselle Lorraine (H2ML) is a club of Handball French. The female section of the club evolves/moves this season in female Championnat of France of handball.
History
The club was founded in 1967 under the name of ASPTT Metz. The club was renamed Handball Metz Métropole in 2002, then Handball Metz Métropole in 2004 and Handball Metz the Moselle Lorraine in 2005. In prey with financial problems these last years, this monster of the female handball was retrogressed administratively in D2 by the federal authorities in 2005. A subscription launched by the player Isabelle Wendling as well as the support of the local government agencies made it possible to break the first judgment: Metz is finally maintained in D1 for season 2005 - 2006 that the Metz-native ones ended up gaining. Metz becomes champion of France for the 14th time of its history and the 4th consecutive year in May 2007.
