Hanafuda
Hanafuda (Japanese 花札) is a type of traditional charts Japan eases. The card deck is composed of 12 series of 4 floral charts representing each one one twelve months of the year. These charts are very widespread and popular with the Japan but also in Korea where they are called Hwa-you U .
Charts
There are 48 charts in a card deck Hanafuda and it there 4 families of charts: “special ” being worth 20 points, “animal ” being worth 10 points (also including/understanding the chart cut of saké and Iris of Japanese water close to a bridge ), the “ ribbons ” being worth 5 normal points and “ ” being worth 1 point. There are 5 special, 9 animals, 10 ribbons and 24 normals in a card deck. The value of the charts can be regarded as useless or arbitrary, and is not used by all the plays, but it makes it possible to better categorize the charts.
