Hanafi sari

Sari Hanafi is a free-Palestinian sociologist born on May 4th, 1962.

It obtains its diploma for the occupation of civil engineer of the university of Damas in 1984, then a diploma of sociology of the same University. It obtains then DÉA Sciences and Techniques in the History, the Culture and the Organization of the companies of the Université of Strasbourg for its essay entitled " training of the engineers in Syria and its adaptation to the needs for the company ". It obtains then a doctorate, with a Honourable Très mention, in Sociology of the École of the high studies in social sciences of Paris for its thesis " engineers in Syria. Modernization, technobureaucratie and identity " . He worked for CNRS of 1991 with 1994.

Hanafi is today the director of the Palestinian Refugee and Diaspora Centers with Ramallah like researcher in the Center of studies and legal and social economic documentation to the Cairo (CEDEJ) and researcher with the Université Al-Qods.
