Han Suyin

Han Suyin ( 韩素音 ) is the pseudonym of Elisabeth Comber, born Chou Kuanghu, author of Chinese origin but resident with Lausanne, in Suisse, whose works had a generally world radiation.

Born the September 12th 1917 with Xinyang, in the province of the Henan, the east of the China, of a Chinese father and a Flemish mother , Han Suyin reached international notoriety by writing Chinese and French, English books, devoted for the majority to China and by conquering million readers.

In addition to various tests socio-policies, it published works in historical and autobiographical matter and several works of fiction.

Its bibliography comprises a good score of titles where appear in good place Destination Tchoungking , Multiple splendor , … And the rain for my thirst , the mountain is young , Amour of winter , Your shade is mine , the four faces and the wounded tree .

Under its official name of Elisabeth Comber, Han Suyin followed in particular the occupation of Médecin.
