Biography

Hamza Yacef knows its first selection in national team has Algérie the June 5th 2005 vis-a-vis the Angola. This attacker was formed with the USM Algiers, with which it twice gains the Coupe of Algeria, then is transferred to the NA Hussein Dey, before signing with JS Kabylie in June 2005.

Hamza Yacef was born on August 25th, 1979 with the Casbah from Algiers, popular quarters of the capital, where football was the only refuge for youth. Being the elder one of an large family, from origin kabyle, of which the father managed with difficulty to join the two ends, Hamza learned the direction from the very young responsibility. At fourteen years already, it had to leave the school to provide the needs of its family. Printing works where it tied up the newspapers the night, while passing by the port where it had worked as docker, Yacef knew jobs with two pennies of them. But this situation could not last too much. Hamza, which carried out a night work, had evil to reconcile work and sport, because it had another passion that football, the judo. It in particular gained the national championship of judo while being junior.

It was little, but at the time that satisfied it sufficiently. “Young person, I really galéré, in particular at the beginning. But I was to do it by obligation, because my family was in the need and it was necessary that I help my father, that God has his heart, more especially as I am the elder one of my brothers. It was very hard for me, especially at the beginning, owing to the fact that I worked during the night, but the leaders of the USMA, which was due much to me, helped me well”, acknowledges it. To tell the truth, difficult childhood that Yacef lived enabled him to forge mental and a character which made its strong point during its career of footballer.
