Hammaguir
Hammaguir is a town of Algérie, in the south-west of Béchar. Between 1947 and 1967, there was a fused launching base of and sounding rockets close to Hammaguir, used by the France for its program " Diamond " (between 1965 and 1967).
The first French satellite Astérix was launched of Hammaguir in 1965.
