  • Beginning of the reign of Abd Al-Rahman III emir of Cordoue. It reconstitutes a unified State. Abd Al-rahman III will proclaim Caliph Cordoue in 929, breaking definitively with Baghdad. End of its reign in 961.
  • the Duero is reached by Asturiens.
  • Blooming of art Mozarab, work of the Christians under Moslem domination (end in 976).

France

  • October 25th: Died of the king de Bourgogne Rodolphe I {{er}}, his/her son Rodolphe II succeeds to him. (End of the reign in 937).

    • the Brittany passes under Scandinavian control (912 - 937).
    • Baptism of Rollon. Part of its men does not delay to imitate it.
    • Saint Managed, bishop of Auxerre, puts the Norman ones in rout at Donzy, whereas they have just plundered the monastery of Cessy-the-Wood.

British Isles

  • a fleet Viking, probably made up of Norwegians, invades the Ireland again. Its Ingimundr chief takes again Limerick and Waterford then goes on the England and emits claims on the north of the Wales and Chester. It is pushed back.
  • the town of Oxford begins its rise.

  • May 11th: Beginning of the reign of Alexandre, Byzantine Emperor (fine in 913). Alexandre, brother of Leon VI, points out the patriarch Nicolas Mystikos. He omits to pay tribute with the Bulgares.

  • Repurchase of grounds by the powerful ones.
