February 18th: Abu abd-Allah is assassinated on order of the mahdi Ubaydullah. This murder starts the revolt of part of the tribes Berbères Kharidjite S Kutama, then that of the tribes Zenâtas of Tripolitaine, hostile with the Fatimides and their allies. Ubaydullah comes to end.
Ubayd Allah Al-Mahdi makes the conquest of the Cyrénaïque.
the Fatimides found Al Mahdia, capital of the Ifriqiya until in 973. The city is built between 912 and 921.

Beginning of the reign of Abd Al-Rahman III emir of Cordoue. It reconstitutes a unified State. Abd Al-rahman III will proclaim Caliph Cordoue in 929, breaking definitively with Baghdad. End of its reign in 961.
