Halušky
The halušky , Gnocchi S Slovak, are one of the Slovak meals most known. They belong to the Slovak culture, specifically to the areas of Liptov, Orava and its surroundings. It is a national dish, whose preparation is very simple on the level of the ingredients and time.
The principal ingredients are the Potatoes, the Farine and the egg S. One uses these ingredients to form a half-hard paste of it. There are many receipts to prepare Slovak goods gnocchis. One can do them with the cabbage, the Pavot, even with the Confiture. The most known gnocchis are those with the cheese of ewe. One adds in the gnocchis the cheese of ewe, which makes an extraordinary taste, they can be accompanied by fried bacon and grass fraiches. The typical drink to accompany it is the acidulous Lait.
Today, there is in Slovakia a great number of sheep-folds whose culinary speciality is the Slovak gnocchis with cheese of ewe.
