Halton (county)

Halton is a nonmetropolitan county of England created in 1974 as a district of the unit Cheshire then authority on April 1st 1998.

Halton dates from the 12th century, when the grounds bordering the two with dimensions ones of the river belonged to the baronnie of Halton.
