Hallstatt (47°34 ′ NR 13°39 ′ E), in Austria is a village of the area of the Salzkammergut. It is located close to the lake Hallstättersee.
It is known to be the site of excavation of the age of iron, resulting from the civilization to which one gave his name, the Civilization of Hallstatt.
