Halland

The province of Halland is a historical province of the south of the Sweden of a surface of 4.786 km2, and a population of 284.700 inhabitants, located on the west coast. She is bordered of the Västergötland, of the Småland, the Scanie and the Cattégat.

History

The province of Halland belonged to the Denmark until the 17th century. It was definitively yielded to Sweden by the Traité of Roskilde (1658).
