Ritual slaughter and geographical adaptation.
- When the Moslems cut the throat of their animals, they say: " In the name of God AND of the prophet (of the time concerned) " , and the meat is halâl but not casher because the Jews do not recognize this prophet.
- When the Jews cut the throat of their animals, they say: " In the name of Dieu" , and the meat is casher but also halâl… because the Moslems are monotheists and they estimate that a demolition according to the Judaïque ritual is halâl.
Moreover, the majority of the Moslems living in a city where food halâl is absent or quasi-non-existent, consume food casher like " substitut".
