Haci Bektas Veli
Seyyid Hünkar Hadji Bektaş Veli (1209 - 1271), going down from the Prophet by the Imam Riza.
Regarded as a saint man, and a philosophical mystic of the Islam alevi established in Turkish-speaking medium, he is the founder éponyme of the brotherhood of the Bektachi S. Originaire in a family of the Khorasan, he emigrated in Anatolia among populations turkmenes on which he had a fundamental influence in particular on the fact that he preached in his maternal Langue, the Turkish .
The Vilayetname , “Delivers holiness”, is the delivers which tells its facts and legends. Its lesson is gathered in several collections of which in particular the Makalat (written at the Arab origin in ) and Fevaid (written at the origin in Persan).
It would have been born in 1190 according to the sources.
Many researchers also think that the word “hadji” would be a deformation of “ hadjé ” i.e. “ hodja ” which, in Turkish, means “main” like Hodja Ahmet Yesevi, the Master of Bektaş. But according to the Alevi-Bektachi tradition, it has the title of “Hadji”, i.e. of pilgrim.
