Hachimitsu to clover

Hachimitsu to clover (ハチミツとクローバー, Hachimitsu to kurōbā , abbrév. HachiKuro , another title Honey and Clover . The title means " literally; honey and trèfle") is a josei manga of Chika Umino which was then adapted in a cartoon 2 seasons by the studio J.C. Staff for a total of 38 episodes (24+2 + 12), then out of film Live action . The manga received the Prix of the manga Kōdansha in 2003.

Synospis

Honey and Clover tells the history of a group of young adults in school of arts or entering the working life at the exit of this school, groups which is seen somewhat upset by the arrival of a young artist wonder and reserved, of childish pace, Hagu . Morita and Takemoto will be particularly affected, falling under the charm from the talent and the personality from the young girl.

The history follows the cross destinies of all these characters, their often impossible loves, the evolution of their goals, of their perception of the world, their friendships…

Hagumi Hanamoto (, 18 years): Genius of the arts raised in a very rural medium, Hagu déboule in the life of this band of buddies, upsetting the relations. Its appearance and its behavior are those of a child and it in fact is surprotégée by Hanamoto ( Shuu-chan ). At the beginning of animates, it enters in first year and touches with all arts.
Yūta Takemoto (, 19 years) Takemoto is student in third year of architecture. It is very skilful in its constructions but also very awkward. It has the love at first sight for Hagu as of their first meeting.
Shinobu Morita (, 24 years): Raise-sculptor of genious, and consequently often unforeseeable, it is especially known in the school to have redoubled 5 times, not being able to awake for the examinations. He is very attracted by the money, but seems also in love with Hagu.
Takumi Mayama (, 21 years): The serious one of the group. In love with Rika. He adores Yamada but cannot approach some too much because she points out painful feelings to him…
Ayumi Yamada (, 21 years): In love with Mayama, but that is not, unfortunately for it, reciprocal
Shūji Hanamoto (): Professor, uncle suprotector of Hagumi. It is very close to Rika which is, to some extent his best friend…
Rika Harada (): Director of a small company of design. Partially disabled person since an car accident which cost the life her husband. It does not know how to be quite simply with Mayama because of her missing husband…
Takumi Nomiya () He is in love with Yamada and is particularly nice but can also be petty.

Anecdotes

the sequence of opening of episodes 1 to 13 would be inspired by a work of art, " Food" , of the Czech Jan Švankmajer.
In episodes 12 and 13, one can notice that the room of Morita resembles control and the operation room curiously of the series Galaxy Express 999.
In episode 18, Morita states with the ceremony of the awards to have worked on " Space Titanic" of " Peter Lucas" , reference to George Lucas, Star wars and Titanic. In addition, when it is taken along, it shouts " I' L Be back" , counterpart of Terminator celebrates.
the Seiyuu of the character Yūta Takemoto, Hiroshi Kamiya was replaced by Nojima Kenji for the last episode of the second season because Kamiya was hospitalized because of an car accident at that time.

Film

The film, with real actors, left on July 22nd, 2006 in the Japanese rooms.

It is carried out by Masahiro Takada, on a scenario which it jointly wrote with Masahiko Kawahara.

The music, 魔法のコトバ ( mahō No kotoba ), is signed SPITZ.
