Habanera
The will habanera (or havanaise ) is a Musical genre and a Danse, born towards 1830 with Havana, capital of Cuba, resulting from the Contradanza, which will allure the whole world, in particular the Argentine (the Argentinian Tango will derive from it).
Most known are those of the Spanish Sebastián Iradier (born in Lanciego, Basque province of Álava, the January 20th 1809 -):

“ Paloma ” (“the Dove”) made up towards 1860. Elvis Presley sang it under the title “No more”, then, Mireille Mathieu in French: “The paloma Good-bye”;

“ El Arreglito ”, interpreted in 1863 by the Soprano Mila Traveli with the Italian Imperial Theater of Paris, and from which the music will be useful for the love is a rebellious bird , will habanera it of the opera Carmen , composed in 1875 by Georges Bizet.
Camille Saint-Saëns also composed a work entitled Havanaise in 1887.
