HS (digraph)

HS (tiny HS ) is a Digramme of the Latin alphabet composed of a S and a H.

Linguistics

Digraph HS is used in English to note the deaf post-alveolar fricative Consonne (represented by in the International Phonetic Alphabet).

In Albanian, the digraph also represents the deaf post-alveolar fricative consonant. He is regarded as a letter with whole share, placed in 27e position in the Albanian Alphabet, between the S and the T.

Data-processing representation

With the difference of other digraphs, there does not exist any encoding of the HS in the shape of only one sign. It is always carried out by joining the letters S and H.
