HMS Victory

The HMS Victory was a ship with three bridges, having 100 guns, Linership of first class, built between 1759 and 1765 before being finally brought into service in 1778.
It was used during the war as American independence, the French revolution and the Napoleonean Guerres.
It was the flagship of Augustus Keppel, 1st Viscount Keppel during the battles of Ushant of 1778, that of John Jervis during the battles of the course Saint-Vincent of 1797 and finally that of Horatio Nelson during the Bataille of Trafalgar.
After 1824, it was withdrawn from the service active and put in a Dry dock in 1922 at Portsmouth. It continues to be the Flagship Second Sea Lord. It is preserved like Navire museum.
It was recently taken as model in the films Pirates of the Caribbean 1 and 3, to create Intrepid the (curse of Black Pearl) , and Endeavor (Until the end of the world) , the flagship de Cutler Beckett.
