HERMES (experiment)

HERMES is an experiment of physics located on accelerator HERA of the research center DESY with Hamburg (Germany).

Its scientific objective is the study of the structure in Spin of the Nucléon, and the structure Quark - Gluon of the matter.

Its principal instrument is a Spectromètre.

The HERMES experiment proceeded of 1995 to 2007 (until the closing of accelerator HERA).
