HD Suisse
HD Suisse is the name of the new chain in high-definition of SRG Swiss SR Idea. It is the 8th chain launched by the public service Suisse.
The chain started on December 3rd, 2007 on television with 10:00. It is diffused by satellite (with the SatAccess chart and without expenses additional) and via the numerical offers of the Téléréseau X (in the free basic bouquet).
The chain is common to the Schweizer Fernsehen, the French-speaking Switzerland Télévision, the Televisione will svizzera di lingua italiana and the Televisiun Rumantscha and is thus available in the four languages, more possibly the original version for certain programs. Its grid should be primarily made up of sports events, films, documentary, series and magazines. Each unit of company of SR has one day dedicated in the grid of HD Suisse. The TSR already announced that its day would be Tuesday.
The promotional first vidéos of the chain do not make by appearing the word Suisse in the graphic preparing and the term HD is pronounced in the language of the selected version.
