HC Devils Milano
The Hockey Club Devils Milano was an Italian club of Hockey. At the time of its existence, it takes even the name Associazione Calcio di Milan in 1993-94 in reference to the club of the Milan AC. In 1997, the team moves in the Vallée of Aoste and becomes Hockey Club Devils Courmayeur.
History
The team was born in 1989 whereas the team of Milan, the Hockey Club Diavoli Rossoneri Milano knows financial problems. The team is then repurchased by Silvio Berlusconi which decides to amalgamate the team with that of the Hockey Club Como.Even if the team seems to be a continuity of that of the Rossoneri , the Italian federation the Federazione Italiana Sport del Ghiaccio , refuses that the team regards the old titles of the Années 1930 and 1950 as belonging to her history.
The team of the Devils dominated the Série has between 1991 and 1994. They indeed gain with three recoveries the Italian championship (1992, 1993 and 1994) and once the Alpenliga (1991), tournament international with teams of Austria, Italy and Slovenia. The team is then made of a mixture of Italian and Canadian.
The players of the time name themselves: Roberto Romano and Mario Brunetta in the goals, Tom Tilley, Paolo Casciaro, Mike De Angelis or Tony Circelli in defense. The attack is then made up of Gaetano Orlando, Michael Richard, Mark Napier, Sandy Pellegrino, Paul Beraldo, John Vecchiarelli, Lucio Topatigh, Jari Kurri, Tom Chorske and Sergio Momesso.
Given up by their principal sponsor in 1995, the senior team then knows many reverses until the transfer in 1996 in the town of Courmayeur.
The town of Milan always accommodates the teams of young players.
