HALF-VALUE LAYER Parks

HALF-VALUE LAYER parks (in the past Grévin & Co) is a group of leisures European, subsidiary of the Compagnie of the Alps. This group was founded in 1989 with the creation of the Astérix Park.

History

The April 30th 1989, the Parc Astérix opens its doors.

In 1998, the group Parc Astérix repurchases the group Grévin - Miniature France and renames Grévin & Co .

In June 2002, the company Company of the Alps lance a tender offer on Grévin & Co in order to diversify in the recreation parks.

In August 2005, the Grévin group & Co repurchases the park the Sea of sand

The May 23rd 2006, the Compagnie company of the Alps repurchases 5 of the 7 parks of the group StarParks, 4 Walibi (except Walibi Lorraine) and Bellewaerde. HALF-VALUE LAYER renames Grévin division & Co in HALF-VALUE LAYER Parks .
