Höchstädt
Höchstädt is a German city of Bavaria, on the the Danube.
It was the theater of three battles:
- in 1703: the Maréchal of Villars beats there the Austrians
- in 1704: the Prince Eugene and the Duc of Marlborough beat the French and the Bavarian ones there. See Battle of Höchstadt (1704) . It is called Bataille of Blenheim by the English.
- in 1800: the Général Moreau beats the Austrians there. See Battle of Höchstädt (1800)
