Hévillers

Hévillers (in Walloon Éviyé ) is a section of the common Belgian of Mount-Saint-Guibert located in Walloon region in the Province of the Walloon Brabant.

It was a commune with whole share before the fusion of the communes of 1977.

Marked by the increase in the number of dwellings, the locality preserves nevertheless a village heart, strongly appreciated by the new residents.

The local inheritance is mainly made up by:

  • the Holy church Gertrude (18th century) having a beautiful furniture: Organ S of the 18th century, confessionals Baroque S, bench of communion of 1760, etc
  • the castle of Bierbais and its Keep surrounded by a vast park
  • the Presbytery of 1780
  • some very beautiful farms.
