Héraclien
Héraclien is an officer of the Roman emperor Flavius Honorius of Ravenne, died in 413.
It takes care coldly of the elimination of Stilicon by slicing the head to him the August 22nd 408 with Ravenne. It removes then his son Eucher shortly after. In reward, it is named count Africa. It behaves quickly like an independent prince and such Firmus and Gildon, exerts on Rome an identical blackmail: in 409-410, it blocks oil and corn forwardings for Rome and Italy (except Ravenne with which Héraclien was in perfect coordination).
Although indicator to arrive heads of the various usurpers at Carthage (Constantin III, Jovin…) and seeing itself conferring the Consul At by Ravenne for year 413, Héraclien, against any waiting, pushes its chance as a recluse: in spring, it unloads thanks to its imposing fleet in Italy with a small army like applicant with the empire.
