Héphaisties

The Héphaisties or Hephaisteia , of the old Greek Ήφαιστεια , are religious festivities of the ancient Greece dedicated to the god Héphaistos. They were held with Athens in the month of Pyanepsion (autumn). Héphaisties were perhaps only part of another festival; the Chalkeia.
Les Héphaisties is especially famous to have comprised a Lampadédromie (race with the torches). They also seem to have to comprise choruses.
