Hémon (Thèbes)

In the Greek Mythology, Hémon (in Greek old Αἵμων / Haímôn ), wire of Créon (king of Thèbes) and of Eurydice, is a prince thébain.
The tradition is confused in its connection: according to the Pseudo-Apollodore, it was still killed child by the Sphinx which devastated the Béotie. But the other authors make some been engaged of Antigone: it would then have committed suicide by learning its judgment by his father. However, Homère lends a son, Méon to him.
