Hélécine
Hélécine (in Dutch Heilissem , in Walloon Élessene ) is a common French-speaking of Belgium located in Walloon region in the Province of the Walloon Brabant halfway between Brussels and Liege.
At January 1st, 2006, the total population of this commune is of 3.068 inhabitants (1 510 men and 1.558 women). The total surface area is of 16,62 km ².
With the laetare (mid-Lent), is held its famous carnival. it is a carnival of the Rhenish type (with princes carnival).
