Gyrotron

A gyrotron is a electron Tube of power (oscillator), generating a wave ultra high frequency. Typical frequency bands: of some GHz to several hundreds of GHz. Powers: typically about the Megawatt under continuous operation.

Principal manufacturers: Thalès (TED), CPI, Toshiba, GYCOM.
