Gyromite

Gyromite is a Video game which uses the Robot Operating Buddy (R.O.B) like extension and which is one of the 2 plays to use this robot, the other being Stack-Up . In this play, the player must use R.O.B to handle the gyros and thus to open the red and blue doors on the screen of the play.

Principal mode ( Game has )

In the “play has”, the player controls professor Hector who tries to gather all dynamites in his laboratory before assigned time does not become exhausted. It is necessary to open the blue and red doors using the second controller, to make pass Hector and to avoid Smicks which grind in the neighborhoods. Turnips can be placed to distract Smicks.

Other mode of plays

In the “play B” the player controls only the doors. Professor Hector is sleepwalker in his laboratory, and it should be made sure that it can move on a side towards the other without problem. Smick makes a return, and the player must make sure that it remains with the variation, because the professor moves straight. The player obtains points according to time remaining at each end of stage.

There are also various modes of test to make sure that the ROB functions correctly.

The American hardware

People seeking to make adapters for reading Famicom plays on BORN noticed that the first American cartridges of Gyromite are in fact of the Japanese cartridges with adapters inside. One can thus recover the adapter to be able to read plays ever left apart from Japan.
