Gymnopilus

The gymnopiles ( Gymnopilus ) are a kind of Champignons Basidiomycètes Lignicole S of the family of the Cortinariacée S. They were formerly classified among the Pholiote S.
The term is drawn from the Greek gymnos , " nu" and pilos , " chapeau" , although this kind does not have the monopoly of it.
Among forty species, the principal ones are:
- Gymnopilus junonius
- Gymnopilus penetrans
- Gymnopilus spectabilis
