In Guyonvelle was born on October 20th, 1836 Martin Luc Huin, priest of the Foreign missions, decapitated on March 30th, 1866 in Korea. Martyr of the “Group of a hundred and three martyrs of Korea”, it was béatifié on October 6th, 1968 with Rome by the pope Paul VI and was canonized on May 6th, 1984 with Seoul (South Korea) by the pope Jean-Paul II. Saint Martin Luc Huin is celebrated on September 20th.
