Guyenne of Gironde

One calls Guyenne of Gironde , Guyenne Gascon , Small-Guyenne or Bordelais in the broad sense the North-East of the the Gironde, an entity allowing to gather:

• the Of Bordeaux in a strict sense ,
• the Between-two-Seas ,
• the Fronsadais (Fronsac),
• the Livornese ,
• the Castillonnais (Castillon-the-Battles).
• the Medoc

These countries are of Gascon tradition except the country Foyen and part of the Livornese which speaks Languedocien but the Guyenne of Gironde owes its name with the fact that Bordeaux, capital history of Aquitaine, became capital Guyenne, left north-eastern old large the Aquitaine.
