Historical trickery
Lastly, according to an act of the files of Goué, one mentions “ Mousiour Franczois of Laval, signour of Brée, Fougeroles, of Plessis, etc husband of damoiselle Guionne. ” the existence of this François is related to a historical trickery. Here the source of the error. Mr. Bertrand de Broussillon, believer to quote a document of sound cartulaire, still quoted a document of the genealogy of Montmorency, in Art to check the dates, where Mathieu of Laval is inserted, husband of Michelle de Goué. But Mathieu who would be the father, François who would be the son, do not exist more one that the other.
