Guy Lechasseur

Guy Lechasseur (January 24th 1916 - February 11th 2005) is a politician Québécois. He was Député of the district of Verchères to the {{#switch: {{#expr: 1976 < 1968}} | 1=Assemblée legislative of Quebec | #default=Assemblée national of Quebec}} of 1960 with 1970, under the banner of the Liberal party of Quebec.

Born with Quebec, it stops its studies to enlist in the Canadian armed as an officer with infantry and Staff with the Voltigeurs with Quebec. It takes part in the campaigns of France and Holland and finishes the Second world war with the rank of major. Of return to the country, finishes its studies of right to the Université Laval in 1946 and becomes lawyer.

During its political career, it occupies several stations of assistant member of Parliament. It briefly occupied the station of speaker of the legislative Assemblée of Quebec, in 1965 and 1966
