Guy Laroche

Guy Laroche was a dressmaker and Styliste of French origin. He was born on July 16th 1921 with La Rochelle and deceased on February 17th 1989 with Paris.
In 1957, it founds its Designers house with Paris and draws its first collection of female clothing of high-seam. Its influence is marked in particular by the taste of the bright colors, the embroidery and the dared forms.
In 1961, it moves with number 29 of the Avenue Montaigne and it diffuses there its first collection of Prêt-à-porter under the label Laroche Diffusion .
In the Seventies, it diffuses two fragrances under its name: black the Drakkar line for men, and the Fiji perfume for women.
Since its death, its designers house remains thanks to the designers Angelo Tarlazzi, Michel Klein and Alber Elbaz.
