Guy Georges

Guy Georges is a Serial killer having prevailed during the Nineties in France. He was implied in 20 criminal cases including 7 murder. The business of the “killer of the Parisian East” threw into a panic the opinion and, because of the various mistakes to which place the investigation gave, finally led to the principle of the pointing DNA in France.

Wire hybrid of an American soldier of passage in France (George Cartwright), Guy Rampillon is born on October 15th, 1962 with Vitry-le-François. He is quickly given up by his mother and is entrusted to DDASS. To facilitate his adoption, one allots to him the name of Georges at the 6 years age. The Guy young person is placed to the Morin family where it very early reveals a solitary character within an large family (13 adoptive children). Very quickly, its violent and aggressive character appears. Is 14 years old, it thus tries to strangle one of his/her adoptive sisters, Roselyne, mental handicapped person. At 16 years, he repeats by attacking Christiane, another of his adoptive sisters. In both cases, it seems to have acted by impulse. Anxious for her other daughters, Mrs. Morin obtains the reference of Guy Georges in a specialized hearth of DDASS. In spite of a better framing, the case of the young man does not improve. February 6th, 1979, it attacks the young person Pascale C. with her descent of bus. After an attempt at racket, it tries to strangle it but the young girl manages to escape. Stopped by the police force, it is slackened one week later. Completely only at its coming out of prison, rejected by its family of reception, it depresses and starts to drinking. One year later, it relapses in its crises of madness and attacks successively in May 1980 Jocelyne S. then Roselyne C. For the latter, the aggression is very violent since Georges stabs his victim with the cheek. Decree again, it purges then an year of prison with Angers. Left prison, it settles with Paris in a friend where its fatal history will start…

Guy Georges was militant libertarian current. According to members of the Extreme right-hand side, he would have been member of the CNT and " proche" of Reflexes.

The killer of the Parisian East

To Paris, Georges steals and owes prostituer to live, which has the gift to poke even more its hatred against the company. It is in November 1981 that it prevails for the first time in the capital. Nathalie L., 18 years, is thus attacked in her building whereas it returned to it. After being violated, she is stabbed and left for died by her attacker. Wounded very seriously the young woman however survives the aggression. Georges is not worried, the investigation not succeeding.

After a stay in 5 month old prison for flight, it is Violette K. which is tackled same manner by Guy Georges in an underground car park of the 16th district on June 7th, 1982: he violates it, stabs it and tries to strangle it. The young woman manages to flee. Guy Georges is taken again by the police force a few days later. He is condemned to 18 months of prison which he partially purges with Ecouvres in Lorraine. But one evening when it obtains a permission of exit for good behavior, it attacks Pascale NR. in her car: this one is stabbed but manages to escape. The police force even stops Georges the evening: it is defended before the Court of Assizes of Meurthe-et-Moselle (Nancy) by Maître Jean-Pierre MORIN who obtains sorrow a 10 years of imprisonment instead of the 15 required by prosecuting attorney.

Profiting from a mode of semi-freedom (it must only sleep in prison), it benefits from it not to be presented, one evening, with the prison of Caen on which it depends. He flees then in Paris and lives in different squats is capital. We are in January 1991 and Guy Georges will kill his first victim. In the evening from January 24th to 25th 1991, Guy Georges sees in the street the young person Pascale Escarfail, 19 years. He follows it, penetrates at her and violates it. The young woman struggling, it is struck of 3 stabs to the throat. One week later, Georges returns as so of nothing was not with the prison of Caen. No question is asked to him about its " virée" Parisian. It is released on April 4th, 1992 and prevails again in Paris only 18 days after its coming out of prison. It attacks thus the young person Eléonore D. in a hall of building but once more its victim escapes and prevents the police force which stops it. He is condemned to five years of prison including two farms.

Arisen in 1993, he repeats and assassinates Catherine Rocher (27 years) in an underground car park after having violated it, on January 7th, 1994. Guy Georges is not worried. Six days after this crime, it attacks a stimulating radio, Annie L., under the porch of housing where she resides.

" The killer of the East parisien" (as one then starts to call it) striking again on November 8th, 1994 by assassinating Elsa Benady (22 years) in the underground car park of its residence in the 13th district. One month later, the architect Dutchwoman Agnès Nijkamp (33 years) is found cut the throat of in his residence (in the 11th district) by his companion. She was also violated. It is the 4th murder of Georges who lives then like marginal, wandering of squat in squat, spending its days with drinking and flying in the trade.

Six months later, Elisabeth O. escapes from little from an attempted murder from the killer from the Parisian East. Unfortunately for the projection of the investigation, it describes in a Portrait-robot its attacker like resembling a Maghrebian and not the mongrel which is Guy Georges. Because of this error, the investigation tramples. It is then Helene Frinking, young girl 27 year old, who is violated and killed in her apartment in July 1995 while returning one evening. In 1995, the business of the " killer of the East parisien" start to do the one of the media, the investigators managing to establish the link between various crimes. But they have few evidence then: a trace of foot at the time of the crime of Helene Frinking, a very vague Identikit picture, and two traces of same DNA left on two scenes of crime.

August 25th, 1995, Guy Georges is with two fingers to be uncovered after an aggression missed at Melanie B. in the district of the Marais. Recognized and denounced the police force, he escapes again, inexplicably, so that the facts which are reproached to him are looked like having a sexual qualification, and is thus not confused. He has even more chance when its photograph is presented to one of its old victims, Elisabeth O., who does not recognize it. The comparison with the suspect DNA is thus avoided to him. It is thus put out of cause, which causes to reinforce its feeling of invincibility vis-a-vis the authorities.

In September 1997, after an assault with intent to commit rape missed against Estelle F., it is Magali Sirotti, 19 year old coed, which is violated then stabbed in its apartment. Valerie L. is attacked in her staircase on October 28th, 1997, then it is Estelle Magd (25 years) who is found in her residence, is violated and cut the throat of on November 16th, 1997. It will be the last victim of the killer whom one also called " The animal of Bastille".

After the murder of Estelle, in this end of the year 1997, it is panic in the opinion: the investigators definitively managed to establish the link between the various crimes, and the existence of a Serial killer in the capital is thus proven. Conscious of the investigation without precedent which is being carried out (in particular a new scientific investigation of comparison of DNA led to the national scales), Georges leaves Paris temporarily. He returns there however a few months later. It is at that time that the scientific investigation bears finally its fruits and that a Nantes laboratory manages to identify and recut the traces of DNA left on the scenes of crimes as being that of Guy Georges, sexual attacker multi-recidivist.

Many teams of police officers are then mobilized to stop that which terrorizes France. After a monitoring of all the places that Georges with the practice to attend, the psychopathe, in spite of ultimate and resounding news bur (the press announces its identity on the waves the morning even of the day which will be that of its arrest, whereas he is sought by all the police forces and does not know that he was identified!!!), is challenged carefully at the exit of a mouth of Métro (Métro White) on March 26th, 1998.

In December 2000, a few weeks before its lawsuit, Guy Georges tries to escape in company of 3 other prisoners by sawing the bars from its cell. They will be taken again of accuracy by their geôliers.

At the time of its lawsuit which begins on March 19th, 2001, it starts by denying all the murders, then ends up acknowledging. He is condemned to the life imprisonment with one 22 years security period.

After this business, Elisabeth Guigou, Ministre for Justice obtains the installation of a file gathering the genetic prints of unbalanced sexual and people related to sex cases. Indeed, Guy Georges could undoubtedly have been put out of state to harm much earlier (probably as of the 5th murder) if, without speaking about incredible coincidences of which it profited, this file had existed at the time of the investigation. The business of the " killer of the East parisien" will in addition have allowed France to discover that the serial killers are not the prerogative of only the the United States…
