Guy Berryman

Guy Rupert Berryman (born the April 12th 1978) is a Scottish musician and member of the group Coldplay. He plays of the low Guitare and he is known to be the shy person of the group.

Berryman was born in Kirkcaldy (Fife) shells some, but he moved in Kent in England at 12 years. He has played of the low guitar for his 16 years. he grows with music Funk and Groove, and it collects the rare editions of these recordings.

Before forming Coldplay at the university of London, Berryman was in a group called Tie Out while it was at the school.

His/her father is an engineer who worked in the Channel tunnel and he currently works with Adrian Hemming. Guy studied engineering at the university. Later, it found these studies too difficult and it changed for architecture. It gave up after one year to concentrate with low with Coldplay. While the other members continued their studies, Guy worked as barman in the pub of the corner.

Its musical influences are James Brown, Beatles, Kool & The Gang, Pink Floyd, Lyn Collins, Maceo Parker and The JBs.

Guy was not sportsman and did not like the sport. It spent its time to the school playing of the trumpet and the percussions in its group.

It is also known like the “dark Horse” of the group, especially because it is the least loquacious and that it draws the attention. It is timid towards the media.

He is a large fan of Captain America and Space Invaders.

Guy has a jukebox pre-1940s style and collects individual the 7" for.

In 2004, it Maria with Joanna Briston, her young love, in a very simple ceremony. It makes turn a store of mode called Jezebell to London. The group went to the recent opening of the store. Guy and Joanna have a girl, Nico, born on September 17th, 2006.
