Guy Fournier is a scenario writer and Québécois author born the July 23rd 1931 with Waterloo in Quebec. It received the Ordre of Canada. He is the twin brother of Claude Fournier, him also scenario writer, and uncle of Jean-Vincent Fournier, scenario writer.

Biography

Guy Fournier studied in Economic scenes and Philosophie. He held during 20 years a humorous chronicle in the magazine Perspectives.

Mr. Fournier had raised the controversy by writing, in the artistic news magazine 7 days of September 9th, that Lebanon, “the law makes it possible to the men to have sexual relationships with animals provided that they are females! To make the same thing with male animals can involve the capital punishment”. However, these allegations are false.

Controversies

Guy Fournier was named into 2005 president of Radio-Canada and CBC. He put himself in the embarrassment on several occasions, initially the May 9th 2006, whereas on the waves of a radio station of the New Brunswick, he expressed doubts on the objectivity of Radio-Canada, and his role to defend the Canadian unit. A few weeks later, it discussed with the organizer CHOQ-FM, a French-speaking Community radio station of Toronto, and acknowledged in waves the pleasure which it tested with déféquer.
