Guy Béart

Guy Béart (of his true name Béhar ), born with the Cairo (Egypt) on July 16th 1930, is an author, type-setter and interprets French. He is the father of the actress Emmanuelle Béart.

Biography

The work of his/her father, certified public accountant, requiring frequent displacements, Guy Béart grows in various towns of Europe and the Mexico. It follows the majority of its studies to the Lebanon, between 10 and 17 years, age to which it leaves to Paris.

Registered at the National school of Music, it is received with the National school of the Highways Departments, from where it arises with a diploma for the occupation of engineer out of pocket. It will direct even the construction of a bridge near Nancy.

Guy Béart begins in the Années 1950 in the Parisian Cabaret S from the Left bank, in particular the Dove of Michel Valette. He sings there the Bal at Temporal , whose author of the words is the writer André Hardellet: it was one of its first great successes. Guy Béart records in 1966 an album of traditional French songs, which is entitled Vive the pink .

A cancer had moved away Guy Béart several years from the scene, but it returns, in 1985, with a title full with hope, Demain I start again .

In 1994, Guy Béart is distinguished by the French Academy which decrees the to him Grande medal of the French song (medal of vermeil) for the whole of its Chanson S.

The December 26th 1986, Bernard Pivot presented, during an emission Apostrophes , an album of Serge Gainsbourg. This last answering the questions of the journalist about his first passion which is painting, it followed a sharp dispute on a dissension with Guy Béart, also invited, in connection with the topic of the song like minor art or major art.
