Guy-Claude Luypaerts
Guy-Claude Luypaerts is a musician French, flutist and Compositeur.
Guy-Claude Luypaerts is the son of the type-setter Guy Luypaerts and raises Jean-Pierre Rampal. He achieves all his musical studies with the Conservatoire higher national of music and dance of Paris. He gains there, seven prices of which the first price of Flûte in the class of Jean Pierre Rampal and the Grand Prix of composition in the class of Tony Aubin. As of its first creations, he affirms his predilection for the concerting form and the whole of instruments wind. He shares thereafter his time between the composition, teaching, the recitals of flute and the direction of orchestra.
Its work for which it obtained orders of the ministry for the Culture and of Radio France was often given in concert and was played abroad: 4 Concerto S for flute and orchestra, Symphony , Quartet of horns , celestial Radiation , part for Organ, Four dances in the Rumanian style , Continuation for piccolo and orchestrates preceded with the International Contest Yamaha (1980), the Impressionists , concerting continuation, Saskia , for flute and orchestra, Light Music , sonata for flute and piano, Starfish , symphonic poem, price of the music and the sea François of Roubaix to the contest of the world festival of the underwater image 1998, Idylle for flute and orchestra , Concerto for trumpet and orchestra , the mouse bald person , tale for chorus and orchestra, Sonata for flute “with Francoise” , Schermuzzio , album for flute and piano made up and imagined according to 6 drawings of Jaques Darnel.
With Tokyo, he interprets his work with the Piccolo accompanied by the philarmonic Orchestre by Tokyo, direction Hiroshi Koizumi. He will give this work at the time of many concerts such as to the Auditorium of UNESCO, Saint-Louis of the Invalids, the Basilique Saint-Denis, etc and will record it several times on disc like at Radio France (Studio 103 and 105).
It records several discs as leader with the orchestra of the Air force and the Music of the National police force.
He also permanently plays the traditional repertory, in particular J.S. Bach, Mozart, Debussy, Ravel, Poulenc, Ibert and composes of many arrangements (Bach, Doppler, Wagner…).
He works as flutist during six years at Radio France before giving courses in various municipal academies of Paris (he always teaches with the academy Saint-Saëns {{VIIIe}} district) and being appointed professor except class of the town of Paris. He animates a master class with recital filmed with the academy of Zemun (Belgrade).
He makes appear flute in 5 volumes with the Leduc editions then the Méthode for flute with editions GCL, and a partition for flute and piano (version saxophone and piano) of Physalia to the Leduc editions.
In 1981, SACEM decrees the price Stephan Hatter-Clerghe-Gabriel Marie to him and names it in 1989 final member honoris causa.
