Gutter
A gutter is a conduit in stone, in Terra cotta, or in Métal (generally in Zinc) collecting water with the bases roof, Comble S or between two Versant S, to allow of it the evacuation by the downspouts or the Gargouille S.
The gutter can be regarded as a small light gutter suspended on the roof.
One distinguishes the gutter, (approximately 30 cm broad with a " lit" of plaster on stone entablature, one can walk inside for his maintenance), of the gutter to English (not of bed of plaster, less width, metal support posed on the entablature, one cannot walk inside, it is thus more difficult of access) and of the hanging gutter (not of entablature, ex: houses).
On the Parisian buildings one sees many gutters and gutters to English.
